Our Policies
Cancellations
Out of the courtesy for our service providers, we kindly request a 24-hour notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Please note that for cancellations or reschedules that do not occur within 24 hours, the following charges will apply:
- 1st Occurrence = no charge
- 2nd Occurrence = 50% charged to the card on file
- 3rd Occurrence = 100% charged to the card on file
- 4th Occurrence = 100% charged to the card on file and you are no longer able to book services at Trio Salonspa.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may ask to reschedule the service and a cancellation fee may be applied.
We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which is in place to respect the time of our service providers and other clients awaiting appointments. Deposits are non-refundable and will be held in your account and may be applied to your next service or to use on product or merchandise in the salon. Please ensure all cancellations are processed through our online booking system or by calling Trio at 319-234-2691 or responding to your text confirmation; Facebook or Instagram messages will not be accepted.
Online Booking
Thank you for your interest in booking with us at Trio Salon Spa. Online booking requires a non-refundable deposit in order to schedule any service using our online services.
Children
We love your kids, just not unattended in the salon and spa. We kindly ask that all children be accompanied by and adult (who is not receiving a service) at all times. Having children run and play in the salon is not only disruptive to other guests who deserve a relaxing experience but also very dangerous as we have chemicals, sharp objects, and hot tools in use. Our spa rooms for services such as sugars, facials, and lashes are not large enough or equipped to hold more than the guest who is receiving the scheduled service. Client's who bring children to their appointment without alternate care may be asked to reschedule and a cancellation fee may be applied.
Returns
Services - Trio Salonspa does not issue refunds on salon services. However, we are happy to make any adjustments if you feel something isn't laying quite right. We ask that you contact the salon within five days of receiving your service. At that time, we will reschedule you with the stylist who performed your service to make the indicated adjustments.
Salon Products - With a thorough consultation our knowledgeable team is here to help you choose the best products to help you maintain your hairs health and style. If you find you are unhappy with a product purchase, please return it within 30 days from date of sale and we will be happy to offer an exchange or in-store credit.
Please note that we are unable to offer refunds on products that are used and opened after the 30 days. The team at Trio Salonspa will gladly share their knowledge on how to use any products we offer.

Inclement Weather
There are times when the weather causes the need to cancel appointments. We respect the safety of others and in these cases we do not require a 24-hour cancellation. Please be aware that the salon will be open if we are able to arrive in a safe and timely matter. If Trio needs to close due to inclement weather, the team will contact each client starting from the first appointment to the last and will work to accommodate the canceled guests as soon as possible.
